Close your eyes and go back in time. Remember the weekends.. The days when you are allowed to wake up late! Uggh the days when you can eat that warm breakfast in peace and you don't need to hurry down the road. Craving for more? Well, the next one is not too far. Let me ask you, "Did you make a to-do list of tasks to complete? Or at least you had a mental note of errands to run. Right?" I'm not going to ask the next obvious question. Good times last as long as an open bottle of wine.
Below I'm listing some tips about how to spend your weekends during college days.
Tip #1 - Wake-up Early
Now you might not agree with me on this one. Remember how soon time flies especially when you are dozing off or having a relaxing time. Jumping out of the bed at the right time will be the key to grabbing those few hours of time which can be better spent on exercising or prepping a wholesome meal.

Tip #2 - Rejuvenate
The week before had you working for hours on end. Weekends can be utilized to wash away that accumulated stress. Give your body a chance to soak in the early rays of the Sun. Go for a brisk jog or exercise as per your fitness levels. Well, is that all that you need to do to feel refreshed and charged up for the week ahead?
Your physical and mental state is also affected by your surroundings. As the long week comes to an end, open up the blinds and window panes. Try reorganizing the furniture in your house. Don't forget to dust and clean your house.
“When one has much to put into them, a day has a hundred pockets.” – Friedrich Nietzsche.
Tip #3 - Make it public
Tell people around you about how you are going to spend the day. Let your family members know that you will clean the living space. Telling people about your plans increases accountability and you are more likely to complete the tasks. Keep a note of the completed tasks to increase motivation.
Tip #4 - Create that special time
Wishing to drive to the nearest cafe and catching up with your loved ones. Go out, post a day in your life, then try a dance move or a Q&A. There are many activities to help you create some bright moments.
Tip #5 - Finish strong
Conclude the day with having the sense of completing something productive. Having a good time on the weekends can go a long way in helping you make the coming week smooth. Have a look back at your plans and the activities you couldn't perform. And look at the activities completed successfully.
Don't stop there
These are a few tips that work for the author. You can go your own way. Don’t stick to a few things to do. If you have any other ideas that were not mentioned here, let us know down below. If you feel someone needs to read this, you can also invite them to take a look at the post.
